Who we are

ShoppeHop (shoppehop.com) is a Shopify store discovery platform operated by Dan Iannicelli. We help shoppers discover independent Shopify stores by browsing randomly through our curated directory.

What we collect

Email address — when you create an account or sign in
Saved stores — stores you bookmark within the app
Usage data — which stores you hop to (used in aggregate to improve recommendations)
Session cookie — a secure cookie that keeps you logged in for 30 days
Payment info — if you purchase a featured listing, payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

How we use it

To keep you signed in and show your saved stores
To process featured store subscriptions via Stripe
To improve store discovery (aggregate hop counts only — never tied to individuals)
To contact store owners about listing opportunities (store contact info only, not user data)

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

Stripe — for payment processing
Railway — our hosting provider where the database lives

Your rights

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing dan@shoppehop.com. We will process requests within 30 days.

If you are in the EU or California, you also have the right to access, correct, or export your data. Contact us at the email above.

Cookies

We use one cookie: a secure, httpOnly session token to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
